Born in the village of Aabadiyeh in 1995, Carlos Mounir Haidmous grew up to become a passionate artist dedicated to showcasing his country’s true essence; through the only medium he knows best to express himself: filmmaking.

Haidamous excelled in the film industry as he quickly developed a distinct career driven by ambition, creativity, and hard work.

Drone Cinematography unraveled his talent for perception; as a result, he filmed various programs, short documentaries, TV shows for local and international companies and broadcasters. In addition, his aerial film An Eye in the Sky of LEBANON got selected in multiple worldwide awards including France, Germany, Britain, Spain, Amsterdam, Poland, and the United States, and won two awards.

However, behind impressive visuals emerges a conceptual mind. One of his greatest successes in cinema is his short film Ruya, in which he wrote and directed in his last years of university. His film toured in more than 26 countries and got recognized for its prosperous execution. Ruya won several awards, including Best Director in European Cinematography Awards 2019, and took part in the Festival de Cannes Short Film Market.
Haidamous put into practice his creative vision and leading character, adhering to successful projects for digital agencies, advertisements, and TV shows.

In all of his works, regardless of their medium, he invests himself completely in his projects, creating a productive environment for teams and employing his detail-oriented work ethic.

Haidamous’ work, which never ceases to propel his country’s wonders, was recently exhibited at the Lebanese pavilion of EXPO Dubai 2020. A short compilation film of his best drone footage is displayed for the eyes to behold the mesmerizing landscapes of Lebanon. In addition to his best aerial photographs and Beirut Beyond Pieces, his newly created puzzle concept.
